This activity is great to reinforce adding and subtracting by tens! I use this when I am teaching adding and subtracting with a 100-chart. Kids enjoy hopping up and down by tens - using a "short-cut" to solve problems. After teaching the skill, this is a great center to give practice - recording sheet included so you can check student work.
