Description
Who couldn't use a helping hand? This is a fun STEM project to have students build before Halloween, but building a bionic hand is a great bioengineering STEM project to assign year round!
This product has two build versions. The first version takes students through the steps to build a bionic hand. The second version is more open ended. The first bio-engineering project is more appropriate for students with some STEM experience, while the second one is best for more advanced STEM students.
Students are presented with the need, the bioengineering STEM challenge, a list of the materials they can use and then are taken through the Engineering and Design Process to design, build and redesign their prototype. At the end, students can make an ad for their hand!
Included Files:
✅Google Slides of Build a Helping Hand procedure
✅Build a Helping Hand with procedure, reflection questions and a "Create an Ad" for your bionic hand component (PDF and Google Slides Digital)
✅Build a Helping Hand with procedure, reflection questions and a "Create an Ad" for your bionic hand component (PDF and Google Slides Digital)
