Our second graders go to the zoo in May each year, and this is a fun way to tighten a variety of math skills in an engaging way. Focus and motivation always seems to Wayne as the end of the year approaches, so engaging resources like this are a lifesaver.

My students are so excited to get to do something new and different! This resource does a great job reviewing some of our big second grade standards and prepares my second graders for the elapsed time problems they will solve in third grade. This makes me want all the PBL resources from this creator!

My high achieving first graders were able to complete the digital version of this resource. It was so cool to watch them practice skills that we had already learned, plus challenge them with 2nd grade content!

I love how simple or complex each of the math projects can be. We focus on a new math challenge as fast finisher work each month and my class adores them. I love how the challenges apply to real-life skills that are interesting to the students.
