Product Description
This lab sheet allows the students to become engineers of their very own bridge. This lab sheet goes along with a lab you would do in the class room. It goes through each step of the Engineering Design Process and walks the students through discovery as they build their bridges. This worksheet causes the students to have to draw inferences on what happen and think a little deeper about why the Engineering Design Process is so important.

To do the Lab:
You will need the bottom of a milk carton to be the vehicle for the pennies on the bridges. Tin foil to give to each team of engineers and some straws. I gave them 1 straw a piece and a medium size piece of tin foil. You will need two tables that are the same height to be the testing pad. A ruler to measure the distance between tables, and about 100 pennies.
