Description
Students will separate their number cards into 4 stacks- A,B,C,D
and will make a stack of task cards.
Students will pick a task card and follow the directions. They will select 2 cards and complete the given operation- addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division.Then students will write their problems and solve their created problems on their MATH PROBLEM SHEET.
You can have students work individually or in groups. This could be a whole group, small group, or center activity.Students could use dry erase boards or scratch paper to show their work.There is no answer key to this activity because there are so many combinations that students could create! There are 54 task cards for students to choose from. There are 45 number cards in each stack. There are a total of 225 number cards in this set! There are so many combinations that students could make!
-Stack A: 1 and 2 digit numbers
-Stack B: 3 digit numbers
-Stack C: 4 digit numbers
-Stack D: 5 digit numbers
The possibilities for this activities are endless! Be creative and have fun! This set aligns with Virginia SOLs 4.4 and 5.5
