Description

The Physical Assessment Testing lesson pertains to the Physical Education Course of Weight Training. The assessment test is a series of physical test on the physical qualities of each student. Each student receives a score for each trial based on their effort from 10-100 points. The Physical Assessment Testing takes about a week to complete, with another day for makeup for students that missed a particular test.

The purpose of the Physical Assessment Testing is to provide an individual plan for each student in developing their strength training program in the Weight Training course.

The Physical Assessment Testing also presents an exciting outcome for the students in the class; it develops a level of fun competition for each one toward improving their score and the ranking in the category. It also helps the student to be more accountable for their strength training program and self-motivated toward improving their results on the next assessment test date.
