Product Description

Burger stack matching math games are great for mathematics lessons in basic operations like addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication and math centers for class activity. This product is useful for all children to learn addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication through play-based learning with burger cliparts and task cards for games and activities.

About this product

This product contains plain burger clip arts and task cards, 12 task cards from 1 to 12, and 40+ pages of burger clip arts with equations to match and equal to the task cards. There should be enough burger fillings for 3 sets of burger per task cards. The burger filling templates are mention below excluding the top and bottom bun:

Patty, Tomato, Cheese, Lettuce, Cucumber, Ketchup, Mayonnaise, Chicken, Onion, Bacon

To play this game, read the task cards and build the burger matching the equations to the task cards. The children can build up the stack of burger as they like, thick of thin depending what equation they can find. Because it is a multipurpose template there are many ways to cooperate the cliparts and task cards to your lessons and centers. If the templates are laminated then the teacher/parent can use a marker to cooperate other games and ideas.

Directions for use:

To prepare the templates for use by printing the pages you wish to use and laminate them for durability. All cliparts will need to be printed and cut before use, with the option to laminate for durability. It is important to make copies of the burger cliparts for multiple players, specifically the top and bottom bun.

These templates can also be used for writing with board markers, making sure not to use permanent markers. Wipe the marker off with a moist cloth or if particularly hard you can use rubbing alcohol.

Standards

Apply properties of operations as strategies to add and subtract. If 8 + 3 = 11 is known, then 3 + 8 = 11 is also known. (Commutative property of addition.) To add 2 + 6 + 4, the second two numbers can be added to make a ten, so 2 + 6 + 4 = 2 + 10 = 12. (Associative property of addition.)
Understand subtraction as an unknown-addend problem. For example, subtract 10 – 8 by finding the number that makes 10 when added to 8.
Relate counting to addition and subtraction (e.g., by counting on 2 to add 2).
