Lesson Description:
Busy builder task cards are designed to motivate hard workers in literacy stations, as well as to provide tools for teachers who need to support emergent learners. We included 3 sets of task cards (alphabet, big book and construction task cards) that can be used with teacher support in RTI instruction, small group instruction, or in independent work stations for all young learners. Each task is supported by a picture to make independent work possible for students while you are working with a small group. Teacher instructions are printed in red on each card. Skills include measurement, retelling, concepts about print, etc. Each set includes an opportunity to look at books.
