Description

Do you need a free counting activity for your students? This resource may be just for you! These button counting mats from 0-10 will help your students with their counting and 1:1 correspondence math skills. Students also work on writing the numerals correctly. A great resource to use with the book “Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons!

Note: Great to use with the Book, “Pete the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons”.

Resource Prep: Print, laminate and cut the button mat game cards that you will use.

Button Mats: Use these button mats with students to help them with their one-to-one correspondence and counting skills. Print and laminate the cards so students can place the correct number of buttons that correspond with the numeral on the page and also practice writing the numerals with markers.

Kids have some button fun while practicing their counting and numeral writing skills!

Great resource to use along with my unit of study, however I wish all of the number cards were in color as in the example on the cover page.
