Description

This easy-to-prepare button sorting packet is fun for little ones. This packet includes sorting mats, printable buttons, and button patterning cards.

Button Sorting: Print the sorting mats and buttons. Kids will place the button onto each mat to sort them by color, shape, and number of holes.

You’ll get:

•7 color sorting mats: red, blue, green, yellow, pink, purple and orange buttons.

•7 shape sorting mats: square, triangle, circle, oval, diamond, star and flower.

•3 hole sorting mats: buttons with 2, 4 and 6 holes.

Button Patterning: Print the patterning cards. Kids will look at the pattern and copy it on their mats. There are 16 button patterns

teachers and students loved this activity, as it provided several different ways to use it. The only thing is I wish they would have mentioned what brand buttons they were using. The ones I had didn't altogether match all of the different ways. But overall, it is a great resource to have.
