AP CALCULUS students will like this engaging card game and worksheets that feature limits solved by rationalization. Multiply the numerator and denominator by the conjugate.

CALCULUS Math Game: Solve Limits by Rationalization & Conjugates

TOP problems: Limits using Rationalizing
BOTTOM problems: Limits using Conjugates

Students will pick up a card and solve the limit.
The answer (1-10) will determine where the student can place their marker.

Three wild cards have been included (labeled Wild A, Wild B and Wild C).

Four in A Row Game Rules:

-This is a 2 player game or it can be played in 2 teams.

-Students are given 2 cards at a time.

-Students solve the problem

(optional: the opposing student can check the student's work for accuracy.)

-Once the student solves the problem correctly, they place their marker (not provided). The goal is to be the first person to get 4 in a row.

Wild Cards

There are 3 types of wild cards (Wild A, Wild B and Wild C). (6 total Wild Cards)

These problems are more challenging to solve.

It is recommended that:

"Wild A =Remove an opponent's piece"

"Wild B =Place your piece anywhere"

"Wild C = Remove AND Replace your opponent's piece"

-PRINT out the game board and cards on cardstock.

-LAMINATE the cards to play for years to come
-CUT out the cards

-PLAY

Game Board:

Each game board has 3 of each of the numbers from 1-10.

The deck of cards has 4 solutions per number from 1-10 (40 regular cards)

2 game boards for Four in A Row are included in this download.

Total pieces: 2 game boards, 46 cards = 92 problems,
(token markers are not included)
