First Grade Zipbooks

In the hopes of making reading homework more meaningful, we send home a reading activity sheet with 3 leveled readers each week in a large gallon zip-lock bag. Hence the name "Zipbooks". We use our leveled book library to send home 3 books at their current level. You may choose to send home printable books (not included) or have student use books from home, as well.

This packet will be added to for the entire year, resulting in 38 weeks. Attached are the first 30 weeks. Each sheet has 5 activities to be completed Monday-Friday, a challenge activity, and space for recording their minutes read (90 minutes per week). We LOVE this program and so do our parents. I hope you like it!

**Pages are editable. However, the format may shift if you do not have the required fonts. For easy use, print PDF versions.***

***Bonus: On the back of each sheet there is a graphic organizer or activity that could be copied individually and used for other classroom activities/assessments**
