The standards are set out to offer a focus for instruction each year and help ensure that students gain adequate exposure to a range of texts and tasks. These “I Can” statements set out all of the standards children are expected to achieve in Operations and Algebraic Thinking in Grade 3. Also included is a useful checklist so you or the child can tick off each standard as they are achieved.

The “I Can” statements are written in child-friendly language and are easily accessible by children.

Each strand in the math curriculum is available separately, or together as a bundle for Grade 3.
