After teaching 2nd grade for several years, I observed that my students were confusing the following strategies: direct modeling, counting on, counting back, and using invented algorithms. Therefore, I created this resource to model the different strategies for students. This product is practicing addition from 1 + 2 up to 1+ 10 for the number sets 1-10.There are 90 different problems categorized in numerical order. This product can be used for direct instruction, practice, and/or assessment.
