25 different CGI word problems for August/September including:
7 JRU (Join, Result Unknown)
7 SRU (Separate, Result Unknown)
4 PPWWU (Part-Part-Whole, Whole Unknown)
5 PPW2PU (Part-Part-Whole, 2 Parts Unknown)
2 M (Multiplication)
instructions:
1) Choose CGI problem page & print out
2) if you see a blank line, please write in one of your student's names (they LOVE to see their names on the word problems!) & make copies
3) Give your students number choices that are JUST RIGHT for them & have them write the numbers on the lines
4) Have them solve them using 2 different strategies! (except for PPW2PU - as many as they can!)
TOOLS - ten frames, hundreds charts, number lines (to 10, to 20, open), fingers, base ten blocks - are included for students = they can cut out and glue onto their CGI page, if desired!
