A superb series of 10 Christmas-themed coding sheets to work on the notion of relative displacement.

Note regarding relative movements: this type of movement takes into account the orientation and direction of the character or object.

The arrows to the left and to the right correspond to a pivoting of 1/4 of a turn (the character does not however change square). The up arrow represents the “forward” instruction and the down arrow represents the “backward” instruction.

In this pack, the students will have to find the different stages of the course to be completed (you can scratch the stages with the small labels provided). The 1st sheet is provided with the correction to better understand the operation.

All the cards are self-correcting: just fold the bottom of the sheet along the dotted lines.
