CONIC SECTIONS - A Complete Unit/Topic

Conic Sections are part of Algebra 2/H and AP Pre-Calculus.

This is a complete unit including over 65 exercises, with most asking for multiple responses. All answers are provided.

Also included is:

- Identifying each CONIC

- Writing the equation from general form to standard form, COMPETING THE SQUARE

- Circle

- Ellipse

- Hyperbola

- Parabola

- Graphing each CONIC, and General Quadratic Functions

- Students will also problem solve, writing the equation of the Conic using parts of it.

- Special attention has been given to a little about the history, as well as real-world applications.

When you are done with this complete unit/topic, your students will be able to understand the world of CONIC SECTIONS.
