Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS; Greene) is an evidence-based model for addressing challenging student behaviour. It involves using structured problem-solving collaboratively and proactively with students to address the underlying problems (referred to as unmet expectations) which lead to the challenging behaviour.

This document provides a guide on how to implement the problem solving with a student. The attached worksheet can be used to document the process.
