Each presentation focuses on a different letter and offers decoding practice. The slides are designed to physically segment the CVC words one letter at a time, twice, to allow beginning readers the opportunity to identify the letter sounds and attempt to use their own blending abilities to identify the words. Next, the full word comes up, and should the student continue to struggle with the word the final stage reveals a visual of the given word. Each letter presentation also comes with one to two additional word-to-image matching slides.
