This set of Miss Independent no prep printables is designed with students working on CVC words. The printables included in this set are:

*6 printables with short stories (4 sentences in each story). The student reads the story independently, illustrates the story and answers the comprehension questions.
*2 printables cut and paste the letters to make the word in the context of the sentence make sense (one for a missing vowel, one for a missing consonant).
*5 printables to spell the CVC word by segmenting out the sounds in the picture (one printable for each short vowel sound).
*5 printables for word search for 9 words with the short vowel sound (one printable for each short vowel sound).
