This resource includes 10 practice pages for short vowels to give your students NO PREP opportunities to practice these important phonics skills. They are differentiated for you, so that students who are also ready for blends can do the advanced page for each vowel. Students will love using DOT paint, highlighters or crayons to mark the words after reading them!
Adding these activities to my own resources was a great way to freshen up practice with some fun!
Additional vowel practice is also important for Multilingual Learners, since the vowels sounds of the English alphabet are tricky and can sound similar to an English Language Learner.
