Description
Intensity Boards are excellent tools for drilling and assessing students for fluency on targeted skills. After falling in love with the simplicity and accuracy of the tool for high-frequency word practice, I designed my own intensity boards to align with the Triumphs- Quick Phonics Screener (QPS). After great success and reviews, I wanted to make them available for others to use and appreciate too!
Included in this Zip-File are Intensity Boards focused on building real and nonsense Vowel-Consonant and Consonant-Vowel-Consonant word recognition (skill 2 on the QPS). There are 12 boards in-all: (two boards for each short-vowel word pattern as well as two additional boards for review of real and nonsense CVC words).
