•This is a Digital Resource on the Boom Learning Website

•These CVC word work activities for preschoolers, kindergarteners, and first graders are interactive and engaging. The cards allow the preschoolers, kindergarteners, and first graders to Drag and Drop letters that make the simple CVC words. These Cards are created to help children with CVC word work. Preschool, Kindergarten, and beginning first graders will build upon their letter name and sound recognition abilities.

• These CVC word work activity cards make a great opportunity for kindergarten and first graders to learn to stretch sounds to be able to apply to write.

•-The Letters are large, allowing children to see each word easily and to be able to drag and drop smoothly.

•-The letters are spaced far enough apart for children to be able to drag the letters without picking up another letter.

•-The consonants are colored blue and vowels are all red.

*Fun Background – House with a carpenter to build the words from the letters in the clouds.

*All words are CVC patterns – there are 6 cards for each short vowel sound.

*After the child makes his/her choice for the missing letter, he/she is to read the word before clicking to make sure it is correct.
