CVC Task Cards & Letter Cards

28 task cards to use in small group reading instruction, centers, or as interventions

Each card has a picture, 3 sounds boxes, and a writing line

I created these because most of the resources for working with CVC words did not include digraphs (ch,sh,th,). My students need practice with CVC words that include digraphs.

The sound boxes can be used in a variety of ways. Students can simply tap teach one as they say the sounds in the words (segment). They can stamp the letters. Fun glitter letters are included in this resource and students can place the appropriate letter cards in the boxes. Students could also use magnetic letters, alphabet beads etc. The cards included in this resource are: fish, chip, chat, chin, shop, ship, chop, bath, ten, math, dish, mud/pig, bat, rug, zip, sun, gum, pad, pot, hop, fox, jam, tag, mad, sad, cat, bun, fin, pen, net.

I also included a template for students to make their own book of CVC words (cover page included and 2 sheets to write CVC word (one with single line for word and one with multiple lines for sentence).
