This folder has items to compliment Caesar's English 2 by Michael & Myriam Thompson. I will be using these slideshows, activities, and games during virtual learning.
This Google Folder contains:
- a Google Form quiz with Lessons 1-4 questions (This digital quiz grades itself.)
- a Google Slideshow Presentation for lesson 3 stems with student participation tasks and a brief review
- a Google Slideshow Presentation for lesson 4 vocabulary with vocabulary in context slides, fill in the blank slides with 20 questions, and a student project assignment slide (key included)
- lesson 1-4 vocabulary in large font for word wall and matching activity
- a Google Slideshow Presentation with directions for the Heads Up Game to use to learn and review the vocabulary words and stems
- a Google Slideshow Presentation activity to play Connections
- All the slideshows can be used on a shared screen during digital learning and the digital quiz can be shared with students.

My students enjoyed some of the activities in these lessons, but the rigor I was looking for wasn't there.
I love all of the options for engaging activities that are included with this resource. I am teaching Caesar's English II to sixth graders, but I do not have enough books for all of them. I've turned to using Thorton's Thinkers materials instead and it has made it more engaging and fun for my students.
