Description

Looking for a complete lesson to help your students learn how to calculate outliers? This foldable is perfect for interactive notebooks, and the editable PowerPoint makes this lesson ready in less than 5 minutes!

In this download you'll get:

✔️ Foldable notes ready to print and go!

✔️ An editable PowerPoint that follows the foldable notes

✔️ Two extra practice problems - perfect for more guided practice, independent work, or mini assessment!

In this lesson, you and your students will identify the lower and upper quartiles (Q1 & Q3) and the interquartile range (IQR) of two data sets. You will then use this information to identify the lower and upper fences of the data to determine if there are any outliers. Each example in the guided notes (foldable) has one outlier.

If more practice is needed, there are two more examples - one data set with no outliers and another with two outliers.
