Students will learn about calculating simple interest which is common on auto loans or short-term personal loans and for consumers who pay their loans on time or early each month.  This middle school or high school lesson financial literacy lesson comes with a detailed Powerpoint (or Google Slides) that will explain calculating simple interest with specific examples.  Students can view a video on how to calculate simple interest rates and complete a worksheet demonstrating their knowledge.
