Description

Teach real-world math skills with these functional task cards focused on tipping at restaurants. Students practice calculating 10%, 15%, 20%, and 25% tips using a variety of realistic receipt scenarios—both before and after tax, and in some cases, with no tax included. Perfect for special education and life skills classrooms, this resource supports practical consumer math and independence in community settings.

This comes with:

  • 144 total task cards
  • 48 Before tax task cards
  • 48 After tax task cards
  • 48 No tax task cards
  • Cover pages for task box
  • Numbered task cards for easy data collection. Download FREE progress monitoring/answer sheets for the task cards HERE.
  • Answer Key

Print Options:

  • Print, laminate, cut for long-term use and place into task box (instructions & task box recommendations provided with purchase).
  • Use clothes pins or a dry-erase marker to mark the correct answer.
  • Print as a worksheet (don't cut), students can mark their answers or use with answer sheet (free download included).

Digital Options:

  • Use the Tpt Easle feature to assign these to be filled out by students on a device through Google Classroom.
  • Upload PDF to Kami Extension App to write/type on.
