Do your algebra or pre-algebra students need to practice this skill?

This topic is a part of the 8th grade Common Core State Standards. I've had trouble finding notes and practice materials related to this. If you have had the same problem, I hope you will find these practice worksheets helpful.

In the first activity (10 problems) students will focus on adding and subtracting using scientific notation. The second activity (10 problems) focuses on multiplying and dividing using scientific notation.
