Description

This No Prep, paperless digital activity is designed for Calculus 1 or AP Calculus. Initial Value problems are usually included in the beginning of Unit 4, Integration, right after Antiderivatives, but depending upon your curriculum may appear in a different sequence. None of the problems use substitution to integrate.

This activity includes 16 Digital Task Cards

# 1- 10 are traditional initial value problems, Given a 1st, 2nd, or third derivative with initial conditions, students are to find the function.

#11 – 16 are Initial value problems given as word problems, some of which relate to velocity and acceleration. All the problems are multiple choice. Students identify the answer with an interactive highlight bar which they drag onto the correct choice.

Use all the slides now, or divide them up for multiple activities or assignments.

  • detailed illustrated directions for sharing and editing
  • a printable "show your work" page which can be used for missed questions or to verify work.
