DISTANCE LEARNING FRIENDLY
Have students read about Canadian achievements in space while interacting digitally. Four brief biographies: Marc Garneau, Roberta Bondar, Julie Payette, and Chris Hadfield are provided and accompanied by drag and drop activities. This product was created for use with Google Slides™️. In the editing mode students will be able to utilize drag and drop to interact with the lesson. If your students have the Chrome™️ extension Google Read and Write™️ they can have the text read to them for this product. Students need to be able to view the presentation in edit mode so this activity may not work well on mobile or tablet devices.
If you are an Ontario teacher this resource lends well to lead up to SNC1D: A2.2, & D1.1 and SNC1P: A2.2, & D1.2.
