Description

This collaborative poster is a great coloring activity the whole class will greatly enjoy doing. It illustrates a few Canadian Symbols such as the flag, the maple leaf, the beaver, etc… It’s perfect both as a starting point or as a final task for a Canada themed unit!

How to make a collaborative poster in class ?

Just give one or two images per student and let them choose their favorite pencils or felt pens for this coloring activity. Once all the pictures are all colored, they will assemble them carefully to get a giant poster. Remember to have a look at your students’ faces : you will notice how proud they are of their own creation every time they step into the classroom.

If you want to learn more, please read our blog article (in French): a collaborative poster for Saint Patrick’s Day, in which every step is clearly detailed and illustrated.
