Description
This is a small group, career exploration activity that can be adapted
for 3rd-8th grade. Students will examine five different businesses or events and brainstorm what job titles play a part in the success of the business or event. I include Career Mind Maps for the following: Walmart, NBS, One Direction Concert, Hershey's Corp. & Nintendo, as well as a blank template for you to customize.
Objectives/Standards:
1. Students will identify the independent roles of a variety of
professionals and how the roles work “interdependently” to
accomplish a task.
2. C:A1.2 Learn about the variety of traditional and nontraditional
occupations
3. C:A1.4 Learn how to interact and work cooperatively in teams
