This two class period (45 minutes each) kindergarten lesson is the "Pur-fect" lesson for teaching color patterns. Lesson plan contains "I Can Statements," linked to the Wisconsin State Art Standards, photographs and step by step instruction as well as a grading rubric and pattern templates for the cat body and sweater. This could also make a great sub lesson or be taught at a first grade level.
