What others say
Description
These webquest activities help students explore the Catholic Social Teaching principles of human dignity, preferential option for the poor, common good, subsidiarity, solidarity, stewardship and care for creation, peace and disarmament, dignity of work, participation, and rights and responsibilities. With sources including Laudato Si', Rerum Novarum, Caritas and other key Catholic figures and organisations, these webquests are informative and comprehensive.
This bundle includes four separate webquests addressing student understanding of the theoretical and practical meanings of the principles of the Catholic Social Teachings. While there are no consistent groupings of the CSTs across organisations, the most consistent terms have been used (introducing comparable terms, like economic justice/dignity of work) to help expand student understanding.
The first webquest makes use of two different websites (available using bit.ly links and the full URL) and includes 14 questions or cloze sentences.
The second webquest makes use of one website (different to the first webquest, but also available using bit.ly link and the full URL) and includes 21 questions or cloze sentences).
The third webquest makes use of nine different websites (available using bit.ly links and the full URL) and includes 29 questions or cloze sentences.
The fourth webquest also makes use of nine websites (different to the first webquest, but also available using bit.ly links and the full URL) and includes 28 questions or cloze sentences).
