Description

Cell Organelle Structure and Function Enrichment Activity!

This is a GREAT reinforcement activity challenging your students to think on a higher level about the functions of cell organelles. Students will compare cell organelles to city buildings and explain how they relate & represent one another.

This product includes:

- 8 building flip flaps representing various cell organelles + roadways.
- A brainstorming printable for students to write their descriptions down before putting them in the notebook.
- A grading rubric: one with a 20 pt value assigned and one blank so you can add in your own point values.
- Teacher suggestions for use pages with photo examples!

This activity is made for interactive notebooks but could be used in other ways. For example, you could have students create their cell city on a piece of small poster board or construction paper to display around the room. It would be a great in-class activity, science center, homework assignment/project, or a partner activity. Use & modify however you see fit!
