Description

Students are provided different cell types and the object of the cell organelle game is to collect their cell organelles from the draw pile before anyone else does in order to complete their cell.

The students are provided with one of 4 types of cells:

  1. muscle cell
  2. bacteria cell
  3. liver cell
  4. plant cell

Each cell has different numbers and types of structures depending on the cell's functions. This reinforces the concepts of cellular diversity AND cell organelle functions.

To add in more interest there are fun cards like skip you and antibiotics to keep the game going.

Includes a follow up worksheet after the game.

Great resource for my Biology classes. The students were really engaged and liked this resource. It probably took them about 30-45 minutes to complete. I would highly recommend!
