Apple Math Activities: Apple Cereal Mats

Are you looking for easy prep math activities to use with cereal? These activities can be used with Apple Jacks or a similar kind of cereal (with orange and green). You can even sort out green and orange fruit loops.

Simply print the activity mats and put out a bowl of cereal to practice sorting, counting, stacking, patterning and building shapes. Children love hands-on learning, especially when they can be rewarded with a snack while working. First work, then eat!

These can be used at math centers. small group, or snack time!

What's Included?

Sorting

  • Open Ended Sorting
  • Sort with Label on Basket but Empty Tree
  • Sort and Match with 1:1 correspondence on Basket and tree

Counting

  • Count to 10 and put quantities in the baskets
  • Count 1 -10 and match quantities in the baskets

Stack and Count (great fine motor practice)

  • Pies 1-5
  • Pies 1-10

Patterning

  • AB, AAB, ABB, AABB patterns
  • copy and extend options
  • create your own pattern

Build Shapes

  • Circle, Rectangle, Triangle, Square & Diamond

10 Full Page Mats Included - simply print and you are ready to go!
