Math Challenge | "Challenge Cards"
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
15 cards to print with challenging Math problems designed to increase number relationship, pattern recognition, and sharpen logic skills. Levels range from easy (level 1) to challenging (level 3).
It includes:
-15 cards
-15 answer cards
The Math Challenge Challenge Cards set can be used in multiple ways:
1. Small Groups/Centers:
Print the cards on cardstock (also consider laminating them) and punch a hole in the corner. Gather all challenge cards together using a binder ring and place the cards in your math station/center with a minute timer. Encourage students to solve the challenges quickly and correctly .
2. Daily Warm-Up/Bell-Work:
Using your smartboard or Elmo, project one card a day at the start of the morning or during transition to Math. Have students solve then quickly discuss solutions.
3. Extension Folder/Early Finishers:
Make copies of the deck and put into folders along with looseleaf paper for early-finishers to solve. Instruct students to create at least two similar challenges for each Challenge Card.
