This Resource Includes:
♥ Hot Spot Cold Spot Checking-In Signs: Provide each student with a sign to use to quickly show if they understand a concept, idea, or process (hot spot) or whether they have questions or need further explanation (cold spot).
♥ Daily Overview Chart (EDITABLE): Attach to student desks and either after each subject or as an exit slip have students circle their understanding of the topics that day so that you can see who feels confident and who would like extra support.
♥ Desk Tags: Perfect to place on student desks for them to use during independent work times (students can flip to the Cold Spot to signal that they need support or have questions).
♥ Calendar Pages (EDITABLE): Use in student data binders to show growth, or send home to allow parents to see how their child is doing at school (also add notes so they know what skills to practice at home).
