Tier 2 Intervention Strategy
This is an editable collection of Check-In/Check-Out behaviour tracking sheets. The Check-In/Check-Out strategy is often used with PBS, PBL or PBIS behaviour and classroom management systems. Check In / Check Out (CICO) is an evidence-based Tier 2 behaviour intervention for students where it incorporates adult attention, frequent feedback, self-monitoring, and reinforcement.
This product includes different variations (see preview) and are editable, allowing for different periods/lessons, adding in times, change of fonts, create your behavioural codes for tracking and adding notes.
What is included?
- A Check In/Check Out educator letter and overview of the strategy and how to use this product.
- Examples of these sheets in action with one of our current students using this strategy.
- An Editable PowerPoint presentation - allowing you to change the appropriate parts of the day and behavior expectations according to each individual student.
- PDF copies of all options - this allows you to print them 'as is' and fill in your details by hand.
- Editable Parent letter / email template to send to parents/caregivers when wanting to start Check In/Check Out
- Editable Mentor letter / email template to send to potential mentors within staff
