I have used these journals with students in my resource room to support monthly progress monitoring for IEP goals, with Response to Intervention (RTI) Tier II students, in small group, and I have adapted it for whole group use. This intervention can help empower students to take ownership of their behavior and support the development of meaningful relationships between adult and student as well as between peers.
