Description
In this bundle you get the Chemical Bonding Presentation, the corresponding fill-in the blank notes, the Chemical Structures Lab Activity, and the Lewis Dot Worksheet.
Presentation+Notes: In this lesson, students will learn how to draw Lewis Dot Structures of chemical compounds and ions, then use those structures to predict the VSEPR geometry, polarity, and intramolecular forces (IMFs) that compound might have.
Lab: In this lab students are given eleven compounds that they need to draw the structure of, then build the molecule using a molecule set, and last use their model and drawing to predict its VSEPR geometry (shape). You will need a molecule set for your students to use.
Worksheet: In this activity, students will practice drawing Lewis dot structures of the given compounds, then using that drawing to predict the VSEPR geometry, polarity, and the intramolecular forces (IMFs) of that compound.
Note: The presentation includes answers to any example problems, and the lab include the answers as well; however the worksheet answers are not included. If you need them, please email me at elementalexcellencetpt@gmail.com
