This Chicken Sunday Literature Guide is filled with tons of activities to get your students thinking deeply about the text, responding to literature, and creating products! The kiddos especially love the Pysanky eggs activity and the character foldables. It's a perfect unit to teach in the spring and around Easter. Be sure to check out the preview!

** Story Map

** Summarization – Someone Wanted But So

** Theme anchor chart

** Theme analysis activity

** Activities to explore the themes of Friendship and Perseverance

** Cause and effect graphic organizer

** Character analysis for Patricia, Stewart, Winston, Miss Eula, and Mr. Kodinski.
