This is designed to go along with a take-out menu from any local Chinese restaurant. Students will find the prices for items in an order when calculate their change when paying with a $20 bill. The order increase in complexity. Page two requires students to find the next dollar-up to pay for their order the change they would receive. Then, multiplication is introduced to calculate the costs of buying multiples of menu items. The last page is for group work where they are given a budget of $30 to go out to lunch with a friend.
