This purchase contains math activities, a reading passage with questions, STEM challenge and more all based on the Rockefeller Tree. Your students will have a BLAST completing these standard based activities. This resource will keep your schedule FULL in the days leading up to winter break; a time that is stressful for teachers. Answer keys and teacher directions are included.

What is included in this resource?

✓ The Rockefeller Tree - a reading passage about the Rockefeller tree and its history. A five question sheet accompanies the passage.

1.) A printable containing unique facts about the Rockefeller tree. Your students will convert units of measure to answer questions about the tree.

2.) Shop Till You Drop! - Students are given a store flyer and must calculate totals and differences of different purchases.

3.) A Trip to NYC - Students will use elapsed time to fill out an itinerary for a family taking a trip to NYC.

✓ STEM Challenge: Students will complete a STEM challenge on the Rockefeller Tree. Their task will be to create a tree and successfully raise the tree using 4 “wires” and not their hands!
