Description
In this product, I have included four color-by-number activities that can be used in the weeks leading up to Christmas. With these activities, you can let your kids have a little fun while knowing that they are still learning and reviewing important math and reading content.
For the multiplication activity, I have included multiplication facts from 0 – 12. Students can color them in based on memory, or they can use their math notebooks or a scrap piece of paper to use a strategy to find the answers.
For the synonym activity, I have included many commonly overused words. This will give your kids a chance to learn and review synonyms for these words that they can use in their writing. I give my students access to dictionaries and thesauri for this activity.
For the equivalent fraction activity, I have included fractions with commonly used denominators. Your students can again use their math notebooks to draw pictures to determine which fractions are equivalent, or they can use another strategy that you are working on in class.
Finally, for the parts of speech activity, I have included words that are nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs for a review.
I hope this is a valuable activity for you and your students!
