This activity is a great for your students a couple of day before Christmas break or for homework. It is great for differentiation, stations or centers, partner work, or homework. It will get your students practicing the order of operations in a fun and festive way.

A great resource! My students were engaged and it helped them to practice and solidify their skills.
The Christmas Math Order of Operations Puzzle was an excellent way to engage my students while reinforcing the important concept of the order of operations. The holiday theme added a fun twist that kept the students excited and motivated to solve the puzzle. The questions were well-designed, providing enough challenge to help students practice and apply the order of operations in various contexts. My SPED students enjoyed the visual and interactive elements, which made the activity both enjoyable and educational. A perfect holiday-themed resource for reinforcing math skills—highly recommend!
Nice end of semester resource that is engaging and high interest for my math students.
Very fun way to practice order of operations with sixth graders.
I used this in a small group for my students who are functioning above grade level. They were able to do the black and white version independently, which provided good review. I scaffolded the color version, which includes integers and required a bit more help to complete. My early finishers added another puzzle tile of their own creation to the outside that matched the numerical value given.
