Description

Are you looking for a festive and rigorous math activity? This baking extravaganza requires no prep and is a breeze to implement.

Students will be challenged to crunch the numbers for Buddy's Bakery during their holiday rush. They will need to add, subtract, multiply, and divide to complete the performance task. Rounding, word form, factors/arrays, and creativity are also a part of this resource.

This is one of my favorite activities for the last week before break. I love the rigor and students love the cookie theme (especially if there are some real cookies to enjoy while working).

I always have a few students who do not celebrate Christmas, so I made sure this resource is focused on math and the bakery- not any specific holiday.

This matches the performance task format, but it was so fun and festive, the kids didn't even know they were doing a performance task! Teacher win!
