Description
Are you looking for a festive and rigorous math activity? This baking extravaganza requires no prep and is a breeze to implement.
Students will be challenged to crunch the numbers for Buddy's Bakery during their holiday rush. They will need to add, subtract, multiply, and divide to complete the performance task. Rounding, word form, factors/arrays, and creativity are also a part of this resource.
This is one of my favorite activities for the last week before break. I love the rigor and students love the cookie theme (especially if there are some real cookies to enjoy while working).
I always have a few students who do not celebrate Christmas, so I made sure this resource is focused on math and the bakery- not any specific holiday.

My students loved this activity during the holidays!
Great resource for the holidays!
This matches the performance task format, but it was so fun and festive, the kids didn't even know they were doing a performance task! Teacher win!
Thank you so much for your feedback! Performance tasks are the best when the kids don’t realize it haha!
I use math projects after every unit and this one matches perfectly with the unit we just finished up!
I'm so happy to hear that! I actually made this product to go with a unit I had taught. We must be on the same page :) Thanks for the feedback!
This is an engaging and on level performance task. Thank you!
