In order to get your class started, you will need to place envelopes around the school, stuff and place envelopes on your board, set expectations, and copy recording page. Students will eventually solve the answer to the joke "What is the difference between a Christmas alphabet and a normal alphabet?" as they work through the scavenger hunt. In order to start the hunt, give each group one of the clue envelopes from the board. Students will read that clue/riddle in order to go find their first reindeer. After students find and solve their first reindeer, they will grab their next riddle and the process will continue until all eight reindeer are found. After 8 reindeer are found, students will put them in front of their Santa/Sleigh in the correct order that correctly solves the Christmas joke.
